8 Weeks Old!

Can you believe it? I can't. Cooper is 8 weeks old today. He just looked so handsome after his bath that I thought I'd do a mini photo shoot.Don't you just love his mini faux hawk? It's kinda hard to see but it's super long....to trim or not to trim. He's only 8 weeks old but his hair is already so long. Hhhhmmm. I just love his smiles. He's been smiling for a couple of weeks now and I just love it. He's also starting to coo. :)
What a happy boy!

Cooper's Blessing

The blessing went well and I'm glad we were able to share this day with a lot of family...including the one's from Canada and Cali.
Jade, Kate, and Chloe having fun on our play toy "the park".
Jessica, Megan, Josee, Sarah, Karla, Cooper, Josh, Alex, Eric, Kazia, and Kade (on the table).
Sarah, Barb, and Megan...aren't they gorgeous!?!

Marcheta, Cooper, Bicki, Kazia, and Susan. It was so nice getting to see them. We haven't seen them since the day after we left the hospital with Jade on Kazia's birthday.

The food was awesome and it was great getting to entertain at our home...we've never done this before. Thanks Mom, Dad, Aunt Barbie, Uncle Dewey, Aunt Linda, and Uncle Richard for all the great food and awesome set up!

Kazia's First Day of Kindergarten

I can't believe Kazia is in public school. She has grown so fast. She's been extremely excited to start Kindergarten for months and the day has finally arrived! Kazia has such a zest for life and is ready to jump in feet first.
She's heading into the school. They have a different route they'd like the kindergarteners to follow so I took her in to make sure she knew how to get there and find her class and such.
She found her hook and hung her backpack and jacket...
Then found her seat. My little baby is all grown up!
So I have to admit I forgot Weber County has early out Wednesday instead of Friday so I got a phone call from her teacher while I was at Costco letting me know Kazia had been left at school and that she'd be in the office. On the first day of school!!!! Luckily Mike was home on bereavement leave and was able to pick her up quickly. She also wasn't devastated and understood what happened. She still knows that we love her. Yippee!

Jade's First Day of Preschool

She was so stickin' cute and super excited. As it worked out she had her first day of school a day before Kazia started Kindergarten.
On her way to class...
She hung up her backpack and sweater and is ready to take a little "first day of school" treat to her teacher and start learning.

She loved it!

The night before Cooper

This was our last night before Cooper was born. We had a great time making smores on our BBQ.
One fat mama...

and 2 wanna be's.

Fishing with Aunt B

The girls were super excited to have Aunt B take them fishing at the pond by our house. Unfortunately just after Jade got buckled into Brittany's car she vomitted all over. EW!!! I cleaned it up and Britt took Kazia to the pond. After I finished cleaning Jade up and gave her a bath we went to the pond to take Kazia her chair, fishing tackle, and to put sunblock on her. We ended up staying for a little bit because Jade was so upset about not getting to fish. She had a great time.
It was a little chillier than usual so the girls started out with jackets. It was a nice morning.
Here fishy, fishy.
Aunt B was teaching Kazia how to cast her pole.
You have to look really hard but there is a TINY fish on Brittany's pole.
After I took Jade and Cooper back home Brittany caught another fish and let Kazia reel it in. She was super excited to have caught a fish with Aunt B. This fish could almost eat the first one. :) Thanks for the fun outing Auntie B!

Bees Game with IHS

Mike's work IHS took us all to a Bees Game on Monday night. It was a blast. They fed us hamburgers and hot dogs which were delish!
The girls saw one kid roll down the hill and they spent 10 minutes rolling down the hill. They had a great time.

The attitude you see on Kazia's face says it all.
The girls enjoyed the game but it was definitely too long so we left at the beginning of the 6th inning...over 2 hours into the game.

They handed out "Captain Underpants" books, tatoos, and whoopy cushions at the game to all the kids. Needless to say that is all we heard in between the cheers. Jade and Kazia love the whoopy.
