Jade's Stitches (Aug. 6)

Ok, so I gave Jade her first major boo boo.We were walking up our steps outside the apartment when Jade missed a step, I wasn't holding her hand tight enough, so she fell and hit her head. The wound went straight to the skull. I dropped Kazia off with a neighbor that was home and rushed Jade to the hospital.

I think I cried more than she did....until I almost fainted when they gave her a shot in her wound with a HUGE needle. Then she really cried because I had to lay down and she couldn't see me anymore. Jade is one tough cookie . It took 7 stitches to close her up...and a sucker to make it all better. It's time to get the stitches out. As you can see...she's really happy about it.

Well, the stitches are all out...and it's time for another sucker...or two

Kazia on the Farm

Kazia went to visit Kristi in Clarkston with me. Kazia got to ride on and drive a tractor that bails straw with Robby. Kazia also got a tour of the Thompson dairy farm. Feeding the calves was really cool but inside where they actually milk the cows smelled terrible. Kazia even got to see a cow pee up close. Eeewww!

Lagoon with Easton

Swimming

We have had so much fun swimming at Ron and Linda's with Erin, Bryant, and Chloe this summer. For the longest time, we couldn't get Kazia off of the step, and now she will venture out a little bit. We've had a few close calls, and plenty of adults to save the drowners. This summer has been a blast!

Feeding Ducks at the Park

The girls thought about feeding the ducks....
then decided feeding themselves first was the way to go....
and with a full mouth, Kazia decided it was time to share with the ducks.
After feeding the ducks, we decided to swing at the park. Kazia wanted to join Jade, so I put her in and kept on pushing. It was a blast!

Kazia's New Princess Bike

Kazia was extremely excited to try out her new bike.

She found it easier to walk the bike than to ride it.

Then she finally started to understand how to pedal....

several weeks later...

and now she's a bike riding pro!

Kazia's First Dance & Tumbling Class

Kazia had so much fun learning new dance and tumbling moves. Dance is now over for the summer, but will resume in September. She will also learn how to tap dance.

Kazia's Swim Lessons

Kazia was so excited for swim lessons, but she refused to participate in many of the activities. She was deathly afraid of the water. Things have since gotten better, thank goodness!

Bathtime

Play this movie....it is great!

Kazia's First Haircut

Kazia's first haircut was fun. We decided that it was well overdue since her hair is curly and tons of tangles. Aunt Sue Sue cut her hair in her salon. Since Kazia was so little, she sat on 2 cases of Mountain Dew...thanks to Brandon...and used a mini cape that fit just right. Thanks Aunt Sue Sue!

I'm all done!
