Kazia's First Haircut

Kazia's first haircut was fun. We decided that it was well overdue since her hair is curly and tons of tangles. Aunt Sue Sue cut her hair in her salon. Since Kazia was so little, she sat on 2 cases of Mountain Dew...thanks to Brandon...and used a mini cape that fit just right. Thanks Aunt Sue Sue!

My Little Toad

I now call Jade my little toad. She is into and gets onto everything. One of her favorite things to do is climb on Kazia's bed to play, but she hasn't quite figured out how to get off, so she squeals when she's ready to get off.

Birthday Mania!

Kazia and Jade both had birthday's this past week. Kazia's was Sunday, June 1st and Jade's was Thursday, May 29th. It has been crazy around our house getting ready for the parties. The only thing Kazia wanted for her birthday was a pretty, pink princess dress...and much to my lack of sleep and frustration...she got what she wanted and much much more! She also wanted a princess party. I told her the only way to have a princess party was to be potty trained...princesses always used a potty...and it worked!


Jade also had great party that was enjoyed by family and friends. She received lots of toys and clothes. One of her favorite toys was her talking elmo table, equipped with a cell phone.

As you can see, Chloe loved the table too.

And, there's always room for birthday cake!

I can't believe our girls are now 1 and 3!!!

Jade can now stand up on her own and take a few steps,

but is not yet ready for walking all the time.

I'm Finally Blogging!

Well, it's been a long time coming, but I have finally had the time to start our blog. I have been extremely busy juggling school, my family, Stampin' UP!, making a pink princess dress (for Kazia's birthday this past Sunday) and such that I haven't had much free time. I am now done with school for the summer and ready to blog and do all of the other fun things I haven't been able to do this past year.

I'm so excited to say than Kazia is mostly potty trained...besides the occasional accident, sometimes at nap and bedtime. WAHOO!!! Tonight Kazia went in the potty and she asked if I was happy, I said yes. Then she asked me to squeal, like I usually do and she said "that makes me happy...it makes me smile". Then I got the biggest hug ever...that is what being a parent is all about. :)

Some other things going on right now:

1) Mike got a new job that he starts next Monday. YEAH!!!
2) I am looking for a PART-time teaching job.
3) Kazia and Jade both start swimming lessons soon (which we need desperately because we will be swimming so much this summer).
4) Jade is starting to take a few steps.
