No Training Wheels

Kazia's been learning to ride her bike without training wheels.

She's got the balance thing down alright and Mike doesn't really touch the bike, but then it comes down to stopping and I think she's not quite tall enough to reach the ground so starting and stopping is super hard as you can see.

Good job Kazia!

Halloween

Kazia was a black widow....SCARY!!! Mike suggested we dress up as bug spray. :)

Cooper was a bat.

and Jade was a bumble bee.

Rain or Shine here we come!!! We trick or treated while it was pouring for about 20-30 minutes. Then we went home, checked our treats and dried our costumes, and started watching The Spiderwick Chronicles.

This is the loot from the first time out. When our costumes were dry the rain had stopped and we went back out. The girls' buckets were so full they couldn't fit any more in before we headed home. We finished our movie while eating our treats...then off to bed for us. It was a fun evening with the family.

Carving Pumpkins at Nana's and Grampy's

Silvie & Cooper, My have they grown! Cooper is almost 3 months old and Silvie is about 2.

Kazia did not want anything to do with pumpkin guts.

Aunt B's Birthday

My parents are in Hawaii so we invited Brittany to eat dinner and have pie at our house so she wouldn't have to be alone for her birthday. It was lots of fun. Happy 26th!

Crazy/Spooky Hair Day

Kazia's school didn't let them dress up for Halloween but they had a crazy/spooky hair day instead. This is what we came up with. A spiderweb with spiders. She loved it!

Black Island Farm

We went with Erin's joy-school group to Black Island Farm. When we first got the the farm they were doing pig races. It was fun to watch and the girls loved it. The we loaded up on the trailer to go pick pumpkins. These Smith girls are definitely going to be fighting off boys all their lives...or should I say their dad's are in for it. :)

Jade spotted her perfect pumpkin rather quickly.

Kazia, on the other hand, took a while and some convincing that there was a "perfect" pumpkin for her. Kazia's super happy grin was short lived. She threw a fit when I wouldn't let her sit in the middle right away because I wanted a picture. I almost don't want to take her anywhere. Jade was happy to rub her great attitude in Kazia's face. I just love that kid! Even if she is a little rotten :)

After picking pumpkins we took pictures by this cool old wooden wagon surrounded by pumpkins. Cooper had fallen asleep but still got to be in the picture.

The girls played in the bounce house, took a ride on the cow-train,

and went on the large slides.

Overall we had a great outing but it was a little hot and we were really hungry when we left.

8 Weeks Old!

Can you believe it? I can't. Cooper is 8 weeks old today. He just looked so handsome after his bath that I thought I'd do a mini photo shoot.Don't you just love his mini faux hawk? It's kinda hard to see but it's super long....to trim or not to trim. He's only 8 weeks old but his hair is already so long. Hhhhmmm. I just love his smiles. He's been smiling for a couple of weeks now and I just love it. He's also starting to coo. :)
